With winds clocked at up to 129 mph, this was a substantial storm. Locally, the trees and fences took the worst beatings, along with an innocent PortaPotty at the Skate park. Our roof was denuded in spots, with tiles blowing everywhere.
The power was out two days in our area, but was out five or more days in others. We all banded together at the condos, looking out for one another, ensuring we all had plenty of lanterns, candles and other storm supplies.
At the end of each storm, there's a rainbow, here seen over Alsea Bay Bridge, and a great sunset I photographed from Seal Rock. All's well that ends well.
