Awarded June 2001 by USDA Rural Utilities Service to establish a secure medical network via broadband connectivity. This was the first telemedicine program of its kind in Lincoln County, Oregon. Coordinated input from Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital, the City of Lincoln City, the Economic Development Alliance of Lincoln County, Lincoln county Health and Human Services Department, the Siletz Tribalo Clinic, Lincoln City Career Tech High School and the North Lincoln Hospital Foundation.

Awarded October 2002 by USDA Rural Utilities Service to expand the existing telemedicine and distance learning video conferencing and data network. This project provides 150,000 residents with better access to health care at 11 locations served by Good Samaritan Hospital and clinics serving Newport, Lebanon, Sweet Home, Depoe Bay, Gleneden Beach, Toledo, Waldport and Lincoln City, Oregon.
